Take away any of these elements, and the pageantry suffers. It is a ritualized celebration of athletic excellence, over-the-top characters, and flashy production. they took out near enough everything that is used for creating your own wrestler including alot of moves, entrance features, clothing etc.Wrestling is a pageant. when fighting the computer they reverse far too much. they changed they way you get out of pins from button tapping to holding the button for a certain amount of time however with the button lag makes it dam near impossible. if one person owns the dlc and the other doesnt you have to disable dlc which you should be able to use against people who dont own it like you can in call of duty with guns. i tried to play a game with a friend it took us 40 minutes just to get into each others game and to get it started. if you have 10-30 minutes to past then its fine. If you can look past all of the flaws then it is quite fun. For $20 grab it, any more and I'd suggest waiting. They have a forum on their site asking for feedback to improve the game and their are some really good ideas I hope they listen to. I'm sure there's more but I'll just wait for 2k16 when 2k finally actually overhauls the game. Florida Georgia Line is on the soundtrack. I still can't pick someone up on a table and put them through it like I can on the announce table. I played a TLC match where the CPU held onto the belt for a total of about 30 seconds but never pulled it down, then I climbed up and 2 seconds later it came down.
Commentary is improved but there is still plenty of gems like "he does a powerful move to The Man"! They added some history of the superstars to commentary when they're in the ring but expect to hear that story every match. Tables seemed like they would fall down with the slightest vbreeze. Collision detection is still wonky and that invisible wall above the ring ropes remains. The game looks pretty good but once again like every year its 6 months outdated before it even comes out. It is 2k14 with half the features stripped out, the new grapple openers aren't anything special, the stamina system was down right annoying and if any superstar performed like that on real life they would be sent back to the development center to work on their cardio. I bought WWE 2k15 and returned it the following day. I have owned every WWE game that has been made. They're like my Call Of Duty (Far from perfect but a game I get easily addicted to) I still play it a lot but I do play every wrestling game a lot. When someones stamina is low they move slower and act a lot differently. The game play is so much better and looks so realistic.
That's expected though as it's the first wrestling game on the new gen. They took out quite a lot of matches and options After downloading all season pass DLC so far I now have 4 Randy Ortons, 3 Sheamus', 3 Alberto Del Rios etc. There's loads of duplicates for a lot of wrestlers. Their choice of wrestlers to include in the game is quite wasteful.
